"The JVC DLAX30B has the huge advantage of being 3D ready and also has 2D to 3D conversion too. JVC has decided to use an active system which incorporates active 3D glasses and a 3D sync emitter (2 pairs of glasses and the emitter are supplied). This projector has a high light output of 1,300 lumens, as well as a much higher native contrast ratio of 50,000:1 when compared to previous models. It is worth bearing in mind that this contrast ratio figure quotes JVC X30's native contrast ratio (unlike many other manufacturers) and not dynamic contrast ratio, which uses a dynamic iris. It is also nice to see that the JVC X30 has a 12V trigger, and also 16 step aperture control. In short, this Full HD 3D projector is not only capable of displaying 3D content in full 1080p, but it also makes no compromises in 2D image quality. The JVC DLAX30B has an upgraded 'Clear Motion Drive', this is the technology JVC uses to reduce motion blur in fast moving Images. The new menu system on the DLAX30B also allows for black frame insertion."
