This appliance can be connected to the internet with the retrofitted SmartDeviceBox. The SmartDeviceBox can be installed easily in just a few steps, and will enable endless digital possibilities. You can now control your appliance effortlessly.

With the Touch and Swipe Display, you can control your appliance easily with the touch of a finger. Simply select the functions you require, features such as Liebherr’s SuperCool, on the colour display by tapping and swiping. You can also manage the temperature of the appliance just as easily, and when you are not actively using the display, the actual temperature will be shown.

The FNSDD5297 has been beautifully designed with Liebherr’s exceptional SmartSteel surface. The high quality material creates an elegant, long lasting appliance that will complete your kitchen. This freezer features an IceTower which will hold up to 8kg of ice cubes so you will never run out of cold ice for your drinks. The ice cube scoop and the pull-out tray on telescopic rails will ensure easy access to your ice cubes. The extra insert tray guarantees that you can also store less ice and make room for your frozen essentials below. And with the adjacent drawer, you are provided with plenty of storage space for your frozen goods. 

The brilliant IceMaker with fixed water connection is a great feature in this appliance. The water will come directly from the tap and will provide you with the best quality ice cubes for any occasion. The MaxIce function enables you to produce up to 1.5kg of ice cubes a day, and the versatile ice compartment divider will easily let you decide the amount of ice cubes you would like to store. 

With the ice cube scoop, you can make portioning and transporting your ice simple. The slanted tip and the ergonomic handle will make sure your ice cubes can travel from your IceTower into your drinks speedily and easily. The robust ice scoop is constructed of sturdy plastic to securely hold your ice cubes. And with the satin surface in transparent glacier green, this scoop is elegant, sleek and pleasing to the eye. 

This appliance uses Liebherr’s BluPerformance. The intelligent technology has been integrated into the base of the appliance, to offer better net capacity whilst remaining the same size overall. This means that there is noticeably more space for your food. BluPerformance appliances are more energy- efficient and operate more quietly.

With the clever, automatic SuperFrost function, freshly stored food can be frozen speedily. The freezer will increase the cooling capacity keeping the temperature inside consistent to create the cold air required to help food maintain it’s vitamins. Once the food is completely frozen, the automatic function will switch back to normal mode to help save electricity. This will happen after a maximum of 65 hours.

This appliance operates very quietly as all refrigeration components such as compressors, fans, evaporators and valves are cleverly advanced and adapted to not make any noise. This is Liebherr’s SuperSilent and is an outstanding feature in this freezer.

This brilliant freezer allows you to set your appliance to your language. Once you start up the appliance, just select from twelve languages on the display and you can then operate your appliance in the language of your choice.

The BottleTimer is a fantastic feature in this appliance. By activating SuperFrost, this feature will provide safe, extra quick cooling for your wine and beverages. Once the bottle has reached the optimum temperature, your freezer will notify you via the app to remove the bottle from the ice compartment.

Liebherr’s Cold Storage Accumulators are an excellent feature in this appliance. In the event of a power failure, they will keep your frozen food cold for a period of time. And when you are out, the accumulators will keep your food and drinks chill.

This appliance features a Power Failure Alarm to enable your freezer and stored items to be kept safe. This alarm is audible and visual so you will be alerted quickly. The display will show the highest temperature reached in the freezer compartment so you are informed of the issue clearly. However, you will never be alerted unnecessarily, as if there is no critical rise in temperature during an abrupt power failure, the alarm will not be activated.

With the Status Display, you can keep track of what is going on in your appliance. The display can be found on the appliance door and is very quick, with an audible and visual alert if there is an issue. A blue light indicates that everything is good, but a red flashing light means that there is a problem with your freezer. 

This freezer features a Display Lock which will ensure that the settings on the appliance are not accidentally changed. You can also deactivate the display lock whenever you require.

The handy Door Alarm will audibly and visually alert you if the appliance door has been left open to protect your stored items. You can adjust your settings to set your alarm to be triggered after a certain amount of time, for example, after 1,2 or 3 minutes.

Liebherr’s EasyOpen enables the door to be opened multiple times one after another, so if you shut your freezer door and you’ve forgotten another item, you can easily open the door again.

This appliance features Liebherr’s SpaceBox which offers plenty of extra space, especially for larger frozen goods. You will have endless storing flexibility with this appliance. The height of the box is 250mm. 

The top freezer drawer features a simple tilting function which allows you to angle your drawer downwards when opened. This ensures a complete overview of the drawer. You can now add and remove frozen goods easily, and the pull-out stop will guarantee that the compartment does not fall out.

This appliance includes a freezer tray which is ideal for delicate foods. This Liebherr appliance will enable you to save energy and money with the handy EnergySaver mode. When this mode is switched on, the standard temperature in the appliance increases by two degrees, meaning your freezer needs less power and your stored items stay fresh.

With the PartyMode function, your Liebherr freezer is perfect for when you have guests. Once the PartyMode is switched on, it will provide ice-cold drinks and extra ice cubes as the function activates features in the appliance such as SuperFrost to provide maximum cold production. After 24 hours, the freezer will automatically switch back to it’s normal mode.

The freezer includes a SabbathMode which enables the freezer lighting, sounds, noises and the display to all be switched off. *After 80 hours, the SabbathMode deactivates.

With the NightMode function, you can switch off all sounds and noises. The IceMaker makes no sound too so your appliance will be completely silent at night. The interior lighting will dim so that you open your freezer to a soft light. This brilliant feature also enables you to program NightMode to turn on and off automatically at set times of your choice.
