External steam generation
Innovative steam system: the steam generator in our appliances is located outside the oven compartment. During the cooking process, the incoming steam completely fills the oven compartment and displaces the oxygen. This results in fast heating and optimum temperature measurement and preserves the natural colour of the food. And because limescale cannot build up in the oven compartment, cleaning is particularly easy.
Domestic appliance networking with Miele@home
With our innovative Miele@home system, you can exploit the full potential of your Miele appliances and make your everyday life even smarter. All intelligent Miele domestic appliances can be networked conveniently and securely. Operation is simple – whether you use the Miele app, voice control or integration into existing Smart Home solutions. The appliances are networked via a home WiFi router and the Miele Cloud.
SoftOpen and SoftClose
A real eye-catcher: the door features a sophisticated cushioning mechanism for elegant opening and closing. It opens to 90° – for convenient, unobstructed access to the food in the oven compartment.
Simply set the start time, end time or duration of the cooking process and everything will be ready when you want it. The cooking process ends automatically when the programmed cooking duration comes to an end. The integrated minute minder is also a convenient option for many situations. Furthermore, in the event of a power cut, the set time is saved for up to 150 hours.
The LED spotlights perfectly illuminate the oven compartment. Permanently, because they are maintenance-free and also particularly energy-efficient.
Cleaning made easy: many components in your Miele combination steam oven such as oven compartment and baking trays feature a patented surface finish with unique non-stick properties. Persistent soiling is easily removed using water with a dash of washing-up liquid and a sponge.
The effortless way to perfect results: adding moisture leaves meat tender and juicy on the inside and crisp on the outside; and when baking bread it helps achieve the fluffiness and browning that everyone loves. For extra convenience, you can programme times for the bursts of steam. Moisture plus is also used in various automatic programmes.
Certain foods need a beautifully crisp exterior for that perfect finishing touch: chips and potato croquettes, for example, are best cooked in a dry oven compartment climate. This is achieved through controlled reduction of the moisture in the oven. You can select the Crisp function individually.
With the tried-and-tested MonoSteam steam generation method (2.2 kW), the steam enters the oven compartment of your Miele appliance via a single steam nozzle. It is distributed around the food quickly and evenly, and ensures a gentle cooking process with perfect results.
Stops the cooking process for perfect results: the oven compartment can be cooled down completely after the cooking process so dishes don’t carry on cooking in the oven. Or you can keep the food at serving temperature really easily. A motor does this by opening and closing the door. This ensures that your dishes are cooked to the perfect degree of cooking and no further – even if you aren’t there to take them out of the oven straight away.
