The wine cabinet guarantees to maintain the ideal humidity required for storing wines. Your wines should be stored in a horizontal position to keep the corks moist from the inside. With over 50% air humidity, the wine cabinet will ensure perfect conditions and can be controlled as required by pressing the ventilation button.

The WPBL4201 features Liebherr’s HumiditySelect which allows you to set the humidity on the display of your cabinet in two stages, Standard Humidity and High Humidity. This ensures that the corks stay moist and your bottles will stay tightly sealed. 

This wine fridge features a FreshAir activated charcoal filter which keeps the cabinet smelling fresh at all times by stopping odours from developing and spreading. The wine fridge will remind you every 6 months to change the filter so you can keep your wine cabinet in the best conditions and easily change the filter yourself.

With Liebherr’s TempProtect Plus, this wine cabinet will consistently measure the temperature with two sensors. You will be alerted as soon as one of the sensors detects a critical change in temperature so you can quickly take action.

This cabinet features a useful Temperature Alarm which constantly monitors the temperature inside the wine fridge. The alarm will audibly and visually alert you if the temperature changes, and the display will show exactly how many degrees the temperature has fallen or risen. You can now take action easily if there are any issues with your cabinet.

The precise electronic control system ensures that the required temperature is consistently maintained in the wine storage cabinet. The temperature can be set to the exact degree between +5°C and +20°C, and the current temperature will be shown on the display.

The specially designed, exceptionally low-vibration compressors in the wine cabinet will prevent any slight vibrations from disturbing the wine maturing process and stop tannins from settling.

The WPBL4201 features VibrateSafe which uses noiseless compressors specially designed by Liebherr and stable wooden shelves made of solid beech wood to allow your stored wines to mature quietly and undisturbed. 

The WPBL4201 has been designed with the utmost care and attention to detail so you can take full advantage of the cabinet’s capacity. The interior of the wine fridge has been crafted so that the wine bottles can be stored neck-to-neck on the wooden shelves to enable plenty of storage space. 

And, you can easily adjust the heights of the wooden shelves to meet your requirements and offer you more storage space.

The exceptional glass door design provides long-term storage and UV protection for your wines. The three protective layers consist of tinted glass and a double layer of vacuum-deposited metal for added safety. And, the Low-E coating offers highly efficient protection for your wine against harmful solar radiation.  

With the retrofittable Water Tray, you can maintain the ideal humidity inside the cabinet by collecting water from inside the wine fridge or from you filling it as required. This ensures that your wine collection is kept in the ideal conditions in any environment.

The LED ceiling lighting will fully illuminate the interior of the wine cabinet from above so you can clearly see your stored wines. The powerful LEDs are positioned at the front of the wine cabinet’s interior and with the sleek glass door, the lighting will elegantly showcase your stored wines.

This wine cabinet offers presentation lighting so your stored wines are always displayed elegantly as the light can stay on even when the glass door is closed. The brightness of the lighting can be adjusted individually via the SmartDevice App and the display. 

The cabinet includes a SabbathMode which enables the wine fridge lighting, sounds and the display to all be switched off. *After 80 hours, the SabbathMode will deactivate automatically.

The wine cabinet features a Power Failure Alarm to enable your stored wines to be kept safe. This alarm function will quickly alert you if any disruptions have occurred such as power cuts, or if something critical happens within the wine fridge.

The handy door alarm will audibly and visually alert you if the cabinet door has been left open for more than 60 seconds to protect your stored wines.

The Liebherr WPBL4201 features the EasyFill Loading Aid which ensures that the door of the wine cabinet remains open from an angle of 90° so you can easily store your wines. And, the SelfClosing mechanism enables the door to close gently and automatically when opened less than 90°.
